Empire Glassworks Hand Pipe | Mushrooms

Empire Glassworks put serious work into the Mushrooms Hand Pipe. A cluster of five red and white spotted amanita mushrooms rises from a sculpted forest floor base, with the largest cap serving as the bowl at the top. The base is where the detail really accumulates: green moss, gnarled tree bark texture in deep browns and reds, a green caterpillar crawling up one side, and two red ladybugs on the other. The carb hole is worked naturally into the hollow of the tree trunk. Every element is handcrafted in borosilicate glass using intricate lampwork techniques.

At 4.2 inches tall it has real presence on a shelf and sits stable on its wide base. One of the more involved novelty pipes Empire makes, and it shows.
